Gambling is often used to launder money because it allows large amounts of money to be moved and exchanged in a way that can appear legitimate. When individuals use illicit funds to gamble, they can then cash out their winnings, which appear as legitimate gains from gambling activities. This process can involve millions of dollars being laundered every year through various gambling platforms.

I used to do surveillance for a major casino in Philadelphia. I had the highest clearence and could go anywhere in the entire casino. Even the counting room where all the money is. I saw so much human trafficking taking place but we were told to look the other way because they were rich and spending money.
