Are slot machines truly random, and does stopping the reels affect the outcome of the game?

Yes, slot machines are always random due to the random number generator in each machine. This means that every spin is independent from the previous outcome. Stopping the reels quickly does not change the outcome of the game; it only speeds up your play.

Non gambler here. When you say it’s gonna take a lot of money to hit the jackpot, what does this mean? Does it mean we place higher bets on the slots?

You just pointed out a jackpot and said good luck hitting that it would probably take a lot of money to hit it. I thought if you just press one time it’s just as good of a chance as if you press 100 times, how does a lot of money have anything to do with it?

I don't  believe  when people say slot machines  are random, why then like 90% of picks to match for a win ,why is it always  the mini I have  not seen  anyone pick a major  or grand  in a very long  time.

Stopping does work, that's how I get all my bonuses

I don't care about free drinks or food,  I visit casinos to win. The moment I see the middle reels land first instead of the reels landing left to right I definitely stop the reels to stop the nonsense it has worked for me for more than 30yrs and I won't stop because I've landed many bonuses that way.

There are no loose or good machines it is all the luck of the draw . Like it says RANDOM;) Trying to stop the machine does not increase your chance. You may get lucky and it stops on a bonus...lol but the bonuses are a joke with little payouts. I like the slots machines that stack. Good luck  even at Bingo

Now Imma have to skighty disagree with not manually stopping the spin cause u may miss out on a win! I went to the casino last month and was sitting at a cash fallls slot. I didnt have any intentions on playing the machine I was looking for a place to sit while I waited for my aunt to play on a machine that was close by. I decided to put $20 in to kill time. The first 3 spins where all the circles linked up. I had started with $.50 bets then bumped it to $1.75. My aunt made a comment and said Uhg I hate that game cause all the circles have to line up for u to win. So the last 2 spins I stopped them manually and won $600! I lost my mind my aunt came over and said did this heffa just win $600!! So with that being said it doesn't make a difference.

Okay, I listen, and some of the things you guys are saying well. Let me say most of the things you guys are saying. Makes sense, but what doesn't make sense is using your player's card. Those comps are not free. You have already paid for those free rooms.  And free food free trips. but not only have you paid for you've paid for 10 other people, so comps are not free. You've already paid for them and if you stay at their hotel. You're gonna gamble some more and you going to pay for 10 other people or for the next time you come there.  And some of the hotels they give you their lowest grade rooms depending on if you are high-rolling. You're gonna get the best room if you're down from a high roller. You're gonna get the rooms next to this elevator or the ice machine. But you guys are right about the.  Willy wonka and all they are high volatile.
But thanks for educating us on a lot of the things. But also, every time you put that card in a machine They know your name. They know what machine you're playing. Your name is on that ticket. If all of that can be done, hmm!, that means they can control those machines as well. Those slot  machines at the casinos are not random.  At all They normally give out money at the end of the year because tax season is running around. And they gotta show how much money they have given out in revenues. But all through the year, those machines are not giving out only to high rollers because they know they're gonna get all of that plus 10 times more back.  From that person, it's a , it's a hustle. Haven't you guys noticed that? Especially after the pandemic, those slot machines are not acting like they were before. Some of the bonuses are different. I've played $5. The highest denom on a machine. And I got 20 spans with the 10 times  fifteen times and thirty times multiplier, and I got one doalert. If you need me to send you the picture of it. I will, and it happened again 10 minutes later. 25 spins at  15×30×40× and I got $1, and that was on $5 bet. So the higher you play does not mean the higher you gonna win. It used to, but they've done something to these machines. They are not working like they're used to. I think it's greed,

You get 2 triggers on one spin, but the 3rd trigger shows up on the next (or 2nd next) spin. That's not random, that is a pattern.  A pattern is NOT random.  The RNG is a myth.
