To increase your chances of winning at slot machines, pay attention to when you win more than your bet and cash out those winnings. Avoid the temptation to chase losses or bigger wins, and instead, bank your wins and walk away. This practice can help you leave the casino as a winner more often.

Great tips Mark and Dave!  I personally modified your recommendation of cashing out. I count my spins when budget building. DD. $100 at $3 per spin = 33 spins. Whatever is left are my winnings!  I may lose $ but always leave with $ in my pocket!

Me and my wife have our way of playing. We put in 20 dollars at a time and whenever we double our money with that original bet we cash out and add another 20 or move on. When we addem up the next morning it is surprising how well we do. Most nights we have a great time and break even and occasionally we do very well. Thanks for all the info!

Great information. When I take a break from slots I play video poker . It is not exciting but you can win on it with learning some strategy.

Great ideas, Marc. I typically cash out when I double up my initial investment.  With your way, I'm more likely to walk away with a little more profit. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice “keep my little wins”…. I never thought about it like you said it. I’ll keep that in mind.

Great video Marc, I am guilty of this where I will put say $100 in and I get some 10,15 and sometimes 30 credit wins on the 3 reel slots but will keep playing to chase that bigger win. I've also started playing video poker as well but if you don't play the proper pay tables and proper strategy you can lose quicker. I was playing at Ho Chunk in WI and would watch people jump from one video poker machine to another and not even realize they are playing an 8/5 pay table instead  of playing 8/6

10:54 I have always banked my wins. Cash my tickets when I leave. Always leave either even or ahead.  Play for several hours.

Example if you invested 3.00 and you took it to 10.00. That would be a good return on your investment. Look at each spin as an investment.  Where else can you get those returns on your money in a very short amount of time.

Topnotch advice, Marc. Couldn't agree with you more. What my partner and I have been doing was very similar to what you suggest here.
When we bring a $500 bankroll anytime we gamble, we start with $100 and do $1/$5 a spin. Any extra $$ we get from a bonus whether it be just $1 ahead of the $100 we started with, we cash that out and pocket the extra $$, then resume play with that same $100 until it would run out, and then the next $100, and so on. Hate to say this word (lol) but we have done this "method" twice now and both times came home with a profit.
So far, from those 2 trips, we are overall $384 in front.
