To resist the urge to chase losses on slot machines, set clear boundaries for yourself and stick to them. Cash out your winnings regularly, and don't let the excitement of the game or the design of the machine tempt you into playing more than you intended. Being disciplined and walking away when you're ahead is key to avoiding the trap of chasing losses.

One of the biggest downfalls of Gambling at the casino is folks get so wrapped up in thinking of hitting that big hit and it manipulates the mind so bad that you can’t focus on the small wins

I can attest what you say and your rule for cashing out with small wins are absolutely true. I get greedy and thats my downfall wanting a bigger win. I did try your method using $400 free slot play and print a ticket after a win and ended with $700 of cashable tickets. Its all about discipline and not being greedy.

I am guilty of most times playing down to zero. Next casino trip plan to cash out each win will be very interesting to see the result. Thanks again Marc for a great video

I never ever thought to cash out a profit no matter how small and then starting over. I always tend to only cash out if I double my starting bankroll or more. The amount of times I’ve been $50 ahead and then ended up with zero is embarrassing. I am at a casino as I speak, and I’m going to start the “cash out small profits” method immediately. Thanks, Marc!

One of your best videos EVER!

Money management is THE key component in trying to profit if that is your goal.

Unfortunately 99.9% of people have no goal going in anyway, which is fine, but don’t expect to leave with more money than you went in with.

Hoping you get lucky is not a goal.

10% profit on 100 dollar going in isn’t much.  BUT it’s 10%. If you were lucky enough to do that (highly unlikely, if not impossible) daily for a year, well that’s a tidy little sum.

Consistency and persistence is key.

Like you said it’s the small bullets you have actually won several times over that the house knows you will give back on top of your money in.

Everyone wants a $10000 payday on a $1 bet.

Set goals if you are serious about actually trying to hope to make money.

Thanks for the great video!

I keep track of what I spend each month   I go about every 3 to 4 weeks. When I saw my Win/Loss statement I was shocked. I didn’t realize how much I had put back into the machines. All those little wins.   Wow. That was an eye opener for me. Now I’m taking those little wins and keeping them. Of course my play time is shorter. But I’m sticking to it and saving money.
Love your tips!

It basically boils down to discipline and self control.

My problem is when I drive a hour to the casino and I hit right away. I don't want to drive right back home so I stay.

Listen to these Gentlemen, then listen again.  Our best play comes well after we’ve established our limits and expectations, selected the games right for us and begin our play.  Cash out tickets and gladly pocket winnings no matter how small - slow and steady wins the race - never chase the rabbit.  ‍♀️

I can walk out of the casino if I win a few hundred dollars. I have no problem doing that. My problem is that I come back the next day, and the next day…

I tried the other day after work and stopped at a local Stations Casino in LV and tried as hard as could to get even a small win but came out zero!! $140 down! Love the advise here. Helps to overcome feeling like a downer.

I carry $20s and withdraw my slip after a decent win. Sometimes it's a few dollars and other times more. It is hard to quit and not put the money back in. I carry a little bank in my purse, sometimes I use it and sometimes I just feel like playing because I'm having fun. Either way I get mad at myself, because I've been ahead most times then put it back in. That's why I watch these videos so they'll stay in my mind when im gambling. Last two times I went,  I won $2,000 and stopped.  Then, another $700 and stopped, so I hope that's what I continue to do. I've been playing older machines with a higher denomination and that appears to be a better bet.

I know I sit too long after a big hit. I keep waiting for handpays and fail to get up after a good spin. I’m getting better.

You’re right about not thinking correctly after a big win, Marc. I won the major on Dragon Link last month for a total of $6300 playing 5.00 on a nickel denom. I spent about 2 grand playing $25 spins because I was so excited, and when else am I gonna be able to play big? Thank God hubby won a couple of hand pays plus my winning streak hung on for a bit, or we’d have come home with only half my jackpot, lol. Next big win I’m gonna take a little break from the machines and walk around the casino until I come down from my high.

My dad always taught me that you walk into the casino with whatever bankroll you have and consider that money already lost. The people who end up in trouble are the people who bring in amount of money and then lose that and head straight for the ATM trying to recap their losses if you walk in with $1000 and you lose that thousand dollars time to leave, never chase your losses

Great advice, When I get a decent hit  ... I cash it out ! Most often I have to feed all my tickets in to total up after a session, but usually it adds up to a really decent amount. If the machine is not hitting after 10-15 pushes, I move on. I call it my hit & run strategy. I have watched people next to me continue to hit that button and lose everything they put in which is sad as its like a feeding frenzy. I had a woman tell me one time, I just can't stop ?????  Time to step back and stay out of casinos for a while.  I always say   " Play Smart "  !!!!!

Trust me brother it's just like smoking crack. You're after that original buzz. ✌️

Hard to walk away! It is addicting, it is gambling after all!

I manage to always win, but I can't help myself  give it all back and some
by (100 points)
Brilliant video. I agree with everything you mentioned. My problem is I have no self-discipline to cash out on small wins!
by (100 points)
I do a variation of this. Anytime I’m in profit territory I’ll cash out.
by (100 points)
The bottom line is discipline and contentment. When you are winning , your tendency is to play more to catch the jackpot. I believe you but is is hard to stOp playing  and just leave the machine when you are winning. Thank you for the great advice on beating the slot machines.

So just went to casino Sunday and tried your method. I tweaked it a little I used 20s but ended up playing a few 20s down to 0. Went in with $360 and left with $332. First win was on triple stars 2 white 7s with triple symbol (150 credits) pocketed $54.50 voucher then went to next $20. Pinball was my 3rd or 4th machine (25c 3 credit) hit 2 triple bars with double diamond symbol ($40), pocketed voucher then used next $20 for backup spin.  Backup spin hit Pinball, 110 credits in Pinball bonus. If I didn't pocket those 7 or so vouchers I would have went home with less. Also I didn't end up using my last $120 since I was doing well

That’s exactly how I get my free cruises. I put my winnings back into the machine and it does add up.  Although my last cruise I actually won my first handpay of $1800.  I put it in my room safe. Then I played my cash of $200.  and won here and there and still got another free cruise.  I scored again!
by (100 points)
I certainly would have more money in my pocket if I got up after a decent win instead I tend to give it all back! I’ll definitely try your tips next time I gamble! Thanks
by (100 points)
One thing I find myself doing, is cashing out at an even number, say 213 dollars to 200. Or if suddenly the payout shows 187 dollars, you say if I can bring it back to 200, I'll stop. Before you know it, you're down to 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by (100 points)
It’s just insane the way people chase.I was next to lady who went to atm 3 times during a session just trying to get bonus.I left don’t know if she ever got it but that’s just dumb to do.
by (100 points)
Very hard to have limits!  You are there to play but we need to be satisfied with the little wins!   They do add up.  I do agree with this video and the methods that are described!  Self control is difficult
by (100 points)
That’s exactly what I do when I turn my FreePlay into Cash every time I get a payback I cash it out and put the ticket up and then add it up later I need start doing it with cash
