If you were playing to strictly beat the casino, Then I would agree with you. But, if you were playing for enjoyment, played all day and went home with more money than you brought, I would be very happy with that. The one thing I don't like about playing less than 25 cents is that is you don't get good kickbacks and leave, you aren't accumulating points for your comps. Playing 25 cents (or for me $1) is you build points faster with the higher denomination. I play for the entertainment and like to get my comps for free rooms etc. so going back to that casino means more for my starting bankroll which varies if playing local vs. traveling away from home. My wife plays the higher volatility slots for the entertainment value. But she plays a high number of credits. I have shown her that playing $3 on a dollar denomination is better than playing $3 on a penny machine. Now she is entertained and has bigger wins.
