I've heard different opinions about slot machines with lights all lit up versus those that aren't. Does the visual state of a slot machine actually influence the odds of winning?

The visual state of a slot machine, such as whether it is all lit up or not, is generally just a visual effect and does not influence the odds of winning. Slot machines use random number generators to determine the outcome of each spin, so each spin has the same chance of winning regardless of the machine's visual state. However, some players may have personal superstitions or preferences for choosing machines.

it actually says it in the rules that they are just a visual and they don't increase your chances of winning a bonus.  Although I still tend to play the ones that have some lit up.

It’s true. I’m a very low budget player. Sat down with most of the firecrackers unlit. Played a few hands and the rockets lit up the purple and green. Won about $150. Good enough for me. But it does happen.
Then played the Gold fish where the purple fish and the gold fish were huge and the bowls were cracked. Other ladies played it and I played it, and still nothing. Probably someone with a much bigger bankroll will eventually bust it.
But I got a brand new iron from the casino.

Had one guy I was sitting next to with everything all lit up on this game. Chose to spin twice on mine (nothing lit) and got a bonus! Great to see you test this theory!

Not to show how the sausage is made, but if the graphics don’t matter it’ll say so in the game rules. Something along the lines of “the pot of coins is for visual effects only and doesn’t reflect how quick the bonus will trigger” or something like that.

So i am a professional slot player..
In this game situation doesnt matter... but there are games that do matter on situation... AND those are only games I play. This game being all lit up just means hasnt been hit in awhile. But doesnt mean will hit anytime soon etc

It usually states in the info/rules that the display does not affect the game play. They are simply for display. ‍♀️ I know it does on the coin bowl one, whatever that's called.

In Australia it actually says that the visual does not mean it is ready to pay out or get. Ive won 200$ in 15 mins on 50 cent bets and then lost that 200$ i made the following 45 minutes with not one bonus even though they were lit up

I played this game at a casino recently, and 1 single firecracker lit up a completely empty one. I don't think it matters whether they're full or not.

Thats a system to pull people in or to make the person keep playing

It’s a sucker’s graphic like the roulette and baccarat tracking boards.

I probably won't play this game again or Dancing drums. They do just suck your money up because you think you're about to get a bonus. But!, the fast spin was super fun on the firecracker machine.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that it doesn’t matter whether or not it’s full. There is also a specific way I play this machine and not all of them play the same way. I won the grand jackpot with an $0.88 bet and I’ve won a major with an $0.88 bet. This is my go to any time I enter a casino as long as it plays the way I need it to.

This game is a big marketing ploy. Even when all except one tube is lit up, it takes forever to finally light up.
Lots of people play thinking it has to hit. But NOT necessarily!!!

The graphics have nothing to do with the winnability of the machine. It's for entertainment purposes only and had no reflection on when the mschine is going to hit. It's still all about the algorithms. Read the fine print!

im a slot tech so ill tell you now and its in the manual during set up  it is just a illusion  that is all it is.  same with wicked wheel same with dancing drums all the filled up pots of gold and all things like it are merely a illusion. your chances of winning the biggest jackpot is the same on any bet as long as you can win the big jackpot on any bet.   from looking at all the things i have access too most large jackpots are won on the smallest bet  and that happens about 75 percent of the time
