The controversy stems from the perception that Curacao, a small island nation, may not have the necessary resources or regulatory bodies to ensure fairness and justice in the online gambling industry. Despite hosting over 450 online casinos, the Curacao gambling license is often criticized as being as authoritative as a 'wet napkin,' implying it's easy to obtain and doesn't guarantee stringent oversight. This has raised concerns about the legitimacy and trustworthiness of casinos licensed there.

It’s worth noting that Curaçao has also been used by cartels to smuggle money for decades. Shady things have gone on there for a long time.

I really enjoyed your new documentary style. Very put together and professionally executed. This gambling industry is so toxic for mankind and you did a good thing here. 10/10! I have been watching a lot of gambling videos and there’s a lot of videos that show how live gambling are cheating. Scenes that show how the roulette ball change positions with magnets and dealers that do shady stuff. A part 2 video for you in this gambling endeavor if you want. Another topic is the “I have gambling problem, never contact me again, I quit” problem, these guys give you promo codes and even call you, even other gambling sites contact you (do they sell your information to other companies?) to lure you in again even if you tell them to stop. Keep bring more of this documentary style with your articulated and thoughtful words you fighter on the fellow man arena! <3

As someone who works in Regulatory Compliance for online casinos for almost 10 years, it’s fun to watch YouTubers cover online casino regulation, especially Curacao.

Unfortunately, if a country does not regulate its own market, it is more likely that operators will exploit and target the country. That is why I stray clear from operators with JUST a Curacao licence. They have terrible reputations and are more likely to get fined.

Even the industry itself (and players) know that regulated markets are the way to go. These operators that are only active in grey markets don’t last very long

I’ve felt for a while gambling is a vice that should be scrutinized more in the public sphere. This video confirms that even more so. It’s a device to consolidate money from the poor who think they have a shot to governments (lottery) or casinos like stake or mgm. Human’s aren’t built to fully understand what gambling is and so they have a distinct weakness to it. Thanks for the great content and keep it up.
