Suicide threats from customers are supposed to be handled by a senior manager. However, the approach can be quite callous, with decisions being made based on the perceived threat level, and once the customer is off the phone, there is often no follow-up to check on their well-being. This lack of concern highlights a disturbing aspect of the gambling industry's attitude towards customer welfare.

Some people end up killing over their gambling addiction. Some will resort to stealing, breaking and entering, selling drugs etc. etc.
Having an abundance of information and other media formats, to help educate, is critical. All of it helps.

It only took 2 months of gambling to lose my $757,800 savings. It took me 30 years to accumulate this fortune. The casinos took it all. All is lost. At 50 years old, I'm now ready to move on to the next world.
